Why did my air conditioner quit blowing cold air?

Asked by carol2957 Oct 12, 2015 at 04:16 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The week before a musty smell started blowing through the vents. Was that the smell of the coolant leaking?

I doubt it /// Refrigerant has a sweet smell and it's very rare to smell it unless a line separated. You probably were smelling the humid air combining with any dust in the vent. Instructions on troubleshooting a compressor without knowing the degree of knowledge you have may not be too helpful

Your Camry has a cabin filter. Here's a link that tells you how to fix it. http://www.geeksoncars.com/how_7225520_replace-air-filter-2007-camry.html
