I have a 2007 Camry Altise. The Trailer lights no longer work. Where is the fuse?

Asked by Davidjohn1346 Mar 05, 2017 at 12:20 AM about the 2007 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had the main computer changed with a second hand unit to fix a
problem with central locking. I connected my trailer and none of the lights work.
I suspect the fuse may be gone but I can't find any documentation to locate the
fuse.

I would be inclined to check the trailer electrical connection and do a good cleansing with a tooth brush and some electrical contact cleaner. Next would be to check power and ground with a 12 volt test light.

Thank you for your responses. To the first responder - No, I live in a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. To the second responder. I had checked with a multimeter and knew there was no power at the socket. I ended up at a auto electrician and he found the fuse was missing.
