Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Ford f 150. This afternoon I went outside to
start my truck so I could start my day and it made a
starting noise and then did nothing after that. I would
insert the key turn it and it made no noise what so ever. I
turned on my headlights, lights in my truck, radio and just
nothing. Not even my remote would lock or unlock my
truck anymore. My aunt came over and attempted to give
me a jump start but after letting it transfer over some juice
for a while I attempted to turn on my truck and it would
just make a rapid clicking noise.  But now lights and radio
would turn on. My aunt took the cables off and left, I went
30 min back outside later and it had no life what so ever
back to start 1 when I went out this morning. HELP !!!
what could be wrong with my truck ??

It could be one out of many things , one being the battery is old . Two could be that the alternator isn’t keeping enough charge for the truck to start. I would keep the jumpers hooked up to the truck for a about 5 minutes to let it charge the alternator.

Check the battery connections and clean if corroded. With what you said when your aunt tried the jumper cables, and the lights came on, and the radio started working.
