Check engine light replacement

Hi there I have a 2002 Ford
F150 XL with a 4.2 engine. My
problem is my check engine
light does not turn on at all.
So I bought a new one bulb
194 took my dashboard apart
but can't find the light bulb
where check engine light
illuminates. What did I do
wrong.
