I recommend installing the best battery you can get. I run a #34 Optima (800 CCA) in my 02 F150 and it has been great.

Pretty sure the OEM battery was 850 CCA. That could vary depending on area of the country you live in.

750 CCA unless you're in Canada then it was 930 CCA. Hope that helps! Jim
