Where is the fuel pump driver module located on a 2001 F150? I've looked everywhere and followed the wiring harnesses but absolutely can't find it.

Bjb fuse 10 20amp to fuel pump relay controlled by pcm to inertia switch to the pump. There isn't a separate driver to speak of, the fp driver is the pcm.

I really appreciate the reply. The truck has had the intermittent starting issues where it occasionally turns over but isn't getting fuel. I've seen this issue described as a fuel pump driver module issue but that won't be the case for me. Thanks!
Your F150 does indeed have a fuel pump driver module located above and just ahead of the spare tire. It is attached to a steel cross member with two fasteners. The aluminum base is very susceptible to corrosion being mounted against steel. It is a good idea to check /test this part when having fuel delivery problems.
I have a 2003 f150 and it also does NOT have a fpdm. Assuming it’s controlled by the pcm as stated by guy. Thanks
Where is the location of the fuel driver module for a 2001 Ford F-150 4.6 lariat I’ve heard that it is under the spare tire but I have not been able to see it. Can you send me a picture of it in where it’s located. Thank You
Thank you! I had issues with my 1998 f150 lariat running rough, and had my pcm replaced and then programmed by ford dealership. It then had issues with turning over but not starting as if starved for gas. I went looking for fpdm and could not find one. Looks like I need to replace fuel pump.
I hace a 2002 f150 4x4 and couldn't see the fuel pump module, which it means that I might need to replace the fuel pump ?help please
If the pump is not running it is probably bad barring a bad fuse or relay. My pumps go out every 100,000 miles.
I had the exact same problem as Guru1 MPNK. I then replaced fuel pump and gas tank. Still having intermediate starting issues. Replaced fuse and relay also. Getting infuriated!
Hello I have a 2002 f150 and it drives for about 10 minutes and then stall, I wait for about 2 hours it will start back up again, for another 10 minutes of driving it stalls again?
I have a 2002 ford f150 5.4 can't see the fuel pressure drive mod
2002 ford f150 lariat where is the fuel pressure drive mod
I have a 1998 f150 and have spent a lot of money trying to fix this problem. In the end, the problem was the security system in the PCM. After trying to start, and it turns over but won’t start, try turning the key around or using a different key all together. Sit a few minutes between tries. If it starts, then this is your issue. I actually had to replace the replacement PCM because they are all rebuilt for our older trucks.

How did you know you had to replace the replacement PCM...? I'm having issues too with my 02. I've changed the pump, modulator, regulator, heat sensor, and fuse. Now I'm about to change the PCM.
I spent money on all that also! The PCM is rebuilt because they don’t manufacture them anymore, and so they may fix most of it, but not always all of it, like the security System. There is usually a two year warranty on the PCM, and when my truck started that crap up not starting again, I took it in and had the PCM replaced again. So far so good!
I apologize in advance if this is obvious, but what does PCM stand for?
Powertrain Control Module.

Man I just bought mine in July 02 crew cab 5.4 liter 2 valve 4 wheel drive manual locking hubs I dont have a fuel pump modulator either, my issue is is that everytime I accelerate I trying to climb a hill it'll downshift but it won't gain more power the RPMs just go up to like 3800 and it surges little just barely but I let my foot off the gas and it'll downshift overdrive but then it starts shaking and actually loses speed I'm pretty sure that I hope it all due to a bad injector R8 ignition coil under load cuz I can test it I can tell both of them I just can't touch them under load
Well, I am a Chevy man. People actually call me Mr. Chevy because I run a 383 Chevy in my 70.5 Pontiac Transam. Chevy pissed me off so I bought my first Ford. Only had it a few months but loved it. Specially the 4x4. Kicked ol lady out. Ol lady cone back at night and stole it. Her names on title so, men. Bought a 01 F150 not running. Cranks but no fuel pump or pressure. Steering colum had been changed so I found matching PCM and changed it, fuses and relays. Started right up but AntiTheft flashes quickly. I understand now that the instrument cluster also contains part of PATS Anti Theft system and has to be pulled andreprogrammed. I'm a retired engineer but someone needs an ass kicking for the way they designed this. At least design it not to fail if you're going to this much work. Chevy is starting to look better and better again..
This may apply to some Gen 10 F-150 owners. My 2002 F-150 V6 4.2L suddenly decided to intermittently bog down completely for a few seconds and then come back to life. It's a 5-speed manual and engine temperature didn't seem to have a bearing. Long story short: When I opened the air fliter box for access to the MAF so I could spray it, I found that a mouse had eaten half of my paper air filter element and some crumbs had gotten suck into the MAF sensor chamber, damaging the MAF sensor. I replaced the MAF sensor and the problem went away. While I was at it, I installed a metal wire screen in the suction side of the air filter tunnel to keep out critters.
Yes there us one near the spare tire between the bed of the truck and Fram in middle. It's sandwich in between the two
