Climb under truck. It will be mounted to the engine right where the trans and engine come together. Should be the only thing in this area with wires going to it.
Trace the hot wire from the battery. It may connect to a solenoid, follow out down to the starter. It's round about the size of an coffee can from decades ago
I have never seen a starter before. I am new to this.

I replaced the battery in my 2001 F150 and it wont start...It clicks at the relay but I cant tell where it is. Any one know where the location of the starter relay is?
