i was driving my 98 f150 at highway speed and accelerated to go up a small hill but nothing happened. Goosed it and could hear engine rev sounding terrible. Coasted to stop thinking tranny. Now the serpentine doesn't move if i try to start it. My buddy says timing chain but would that have caused the original problem?

I have a 2008 F150 Lariat and the drivers side window will not go down. It will sound as if it is starting to come down but doesn't move. It was working fine one day and just stopped working. 4 Answers

Thank you for your comments about my problem with my 1996 for f150, I checked to see if the fan clutch was able to move, it is very secure, there has been a new serpenteen belt put on. So still don't know what is causing the noise, happened one day after it was worked on. 1 Answer
