96 f-150 truck V6

Asked by Dennis Oct 19, 2013 at 04:04 PM about the 1996 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced starter ,relay , battery and
newer alternator. Still will not turn
over. Also checked all fuses wires
ground ext. when I turn the key to
start it just makes a click noise.
Returned 2 starters and relay and still
just the click. PLEASE HELP! Any
info or advice would be much
appriciated.

I have to reach over the steering wheel with my left hand and hold up on the shifter lever. Must be something in the switch.

Thanks for the help but I've tried turning the key to the on position then screw driver to the relay and nothing just the click again.. It has power ( brand new battery)
