‘95 F150 won’t start sometimes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a ‘95 f150. Runs great. Usually starts no problem.
How ever on occasion I get in and it starts fine then I go to
the store, no problems. I’m in the store 5 min and when I
come out of the store It won’t start.
Battery/charge is good, plenty of fuel.
I always poke around a bit under the hood i.e. check the
points, battery connections and I even go so far as to put
in neutral and try starting that way  but nothing ever
works.
Eventually it starts after about 10 min with no problems.
This last time it was a few hours ( after $135 for a tow) got
it home the tow driver tried to start it and drive it of the
tow bed but no luck. As soon as it was on the street I tried
it and it started right up no problem.
Any insight you may have is appreciated.

When you turn the key on listen for the fuel pump priming. Your fuel pump may be on the way out.
