step up running board hardware can not find

I need the hangers /hardware for the drivers side running board, these are broken

Have you tried the local salvage yards? Occasionally there will be a truck or too in there with the items you need. Also, remember that for items like this, usually 1980-1996 models will be identical enough for interchange between the 1980-86, 1987-1991, and 1992-1996 year model series. And also remember, usually the only differences in aftermarket running boards between chevy, dodge, and ford are length, length, and (with fiberglass and nerf bars) shape, but the mounting hardware is usually interchangeable. There is one question I have, though... Could the hardware be found at the local hardware store? I had a set of aluminum boards on a 1995 F-150 that basically used bolts, screws, and angle iron that could be found at the local Lowes and cut down to size. Worse case, you might be able to find the parts at JC Whitney's online or a Mr Pickup/pick up accessories store.
