Fuel tanks

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought used 1991 f150. Back tank hasn't been
used in years. I filled front tank, got horrible
mileage, and after awhile the back tank was
overflowing. How? Why? Help!!

The fuel tank sending unit is bad, check with Ford they make an updated sending unit to repair the problem.
