Ignition issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just rebuilt 302 in 1990 F 150.  Reinstalled and
won't start.  Seems like no ignition.   Checked
plugs to coil,  have power.  Found little silver
cylinder under coil mounted to coil frame.  Wire is
broken off.  Would this cause no ignition?
