90 f150 brake light problems

Question type: General

so my drivers side brake light wasn't working so i replaced it with a new bulb,
well got stopped and cop said it wasn't working and when i got home i looked
and it was working....whats wrong with this thing

Could be a faulty ground near the wiring or a socket in need of replacement. If the fault cannot be seen visually, you will have to check with a meter when the condition is present.
