can you remove the third seat from 2007 toyota highlander?

Asked by toyfan Dec 04, 2007 at 04:59 PM about the 2007 Toyota Highlander

Question type: General

We don't need the third row seat in the 2007 toyota highlander. It's just dead weight. Can the dealer remove it? Would it provide extra storage? Or is this a totally ridiculous thing to consider?

I would ask your dealer salesman to either show you how to remove it, or have their service department do it for you. Most of these seats are quick-removable by the owner, but a lot of them are not intuitive as to "how to do it" unless someone shows you. Worst case, they could remove it and it would surely provide some extra storage space for you.
