AUDI A6 2006

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi
Our Audi A6 2006 2.7 Quattro is acting up. On
returning to car windows were slightly down and
when car was unlocked and windows put up the
passenger front window would only go down and
stay down.
After returning home and looking at various fuses
the car will not offer to open or unlock although
drivers door is now open somehow but all other
doors remain locked . The car will not offer to start
and the key will not release from ignition until
release button is pressed with a pin. The alarm
also keeps going off as soon as the one unlocked
door is opened. The battery when checked was still
showing a good 11.7 v after lights had been left on
for for an hour so thinking it's not related to the
battery.
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thanks Mark

Get the battery load tested. A weak battery can cause all sorts of gremlins The other thought is there may be water infiltration through one or more of the seals in the door and could be effecting the whole circuit. If none of those ideas find anything then you may need to have a vehicle specific scan program to isolate the offending module, door, or damaged wiring. Good Luck!
