Hi I recently purchased a 2006 Audi A8, but after a few hours of exiting the car my brake tail lights come. To turn them off I have to lift the brake pedal up. What's the solution and cost?
Can anyone tell me what the problem
can be and cost?

It is a brake pedal switch. Part is about $40 labor $150 +/-
yep. Brake switch. Part can be as cheap as $9 on ebay/amazon. It's in a miserable place behind knee bolster requiring some diassembly to get to, or a trained monkey with very small hands and long arms to reach up in there blind and install it
Can anyone tell me what the problem can be and cost?
