No headlights

My headlights will not come on.For a couple
months I had to drive with my highbeams on and
now they will not come on unless I hold the lever
forward.Any suggestions? Thank you

Your multifunction switch (wipers, cruise control, brights) is bad, or better put, has a bad ground connection to allow the headlights to work. Yes the headlights are on a separate switch, but they reference ground through the multifunction switch.
