Car won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went to the store, cut my car off, went to
leave it won't crank, tried jumping it off, a
guy used needle nose pliers and pushed
something down by the starter solenoid and
there were sparks and a winding kind of
sound he said it was my starter solenoid
(my boyfriend thinks its the computer) all of
my dash lights come on my headlights do to
i can turn the key, it won't crank right  up like
its supposed to, please help

If the car started after "the guy" did this, the problem is what " the guy" told you.

He didn't hold it long enough for me to try and start it to see

I honestly think it is my starter but im not a mechanic but come to think of it ive been having to hold my switch a few seconds before it totally starts up

I'm having the same issue plz help ive replaced the starter and the battery.. What can it be .. I even checked all grounds and they are tight....HELP...
