does the back seat of a 2004 Buick Lasabre fold down to access the trunk?

my dad's trunk won't shut, and I need to access the trunk while the trunk lid is closed.

The latch is known for sticking. If you push the pin to the right in the latch then shut the trunk it should work..

With a helper, one of you could get in the trunk with a good light and the helper closes the trunk....check the alignment of the latch parts and make the needed adjustments.
