2004 Buick Rendezous..the computor port is not working..and will not allow it to be canned ..say not connected when it is plugged in to scanner.can that be repaired?

Try checking the cigarette/accessory fuse. I do believe that's the fuse that also powers the odb port

thank you. i will do that.also the brake light comes on and sounds an alarm and when you turn off the car and restart it it goes away..for days..so yesterday it was dong the brake light alarm sound and it felt like the car was not getting full power when i put my foot on gas peddle..kind of like when a small engine is having trouble going a steep hill..but it readjusted and is running fine..that's how i discovered the port problem when i went to an auto zone for a quick diagnostic..no could do......

Sounds like you have multiple problems. I would check the fuse and get it scanned first. Then find out what codes show up. Let us know what they are and we can go from there.

the auto zone people said they have no fuse for Buick 2004 Rendezous and no one i know including them could find the fuse in the side panel box near the glove box inside the vehicle or the fuse box under the hood ....do you have any idea where the ODB2 port fuse would be....??????

the fuse for the cigarette lighter and power outlet is fuse #32 (20 amp) and is in the Underhood fuse panel

My 2003 Buick rendezvous started up and die

My boyfriend gave his co-worker a jump then afterwards my car lost window power, the radio, tail lights head lights real dim, no AC/heater. What would cause this??
