Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the bulbs and the fuses.. still no
running or dash lights.. and now my car
dings like I left my lights on when ever I get in
or out of the car.. do you think changing out
the headlight switch/knob would help?? Any
suggestions would be welcome at this point!!

if the knob is pulled out when you turn your car off the lights will stay on and run your battery down also if you open the doors they will ding until you push the knob in. the dash lights come on depending on the knob being turned all the way to "max light"

Check the fuse fitting/sockets for grit or fine rust pits if you find anything try spraying electric (not carb) cleaner into empty socket adn reaset fuses. chek up teh line fo rother spots where corrosion could occur
