Catalytic converters are usually located under the car between the firewall and rear of the feonts seats.

Catalytic converter(s) are located as part of the exhaust pipes not far to the rear of the exhaust manifolds.

In a 2002 Buick lesabre custom the Catalac converters are located straight under the motor and between the dash and the rear of the front seats
