so i have a 2001 buick lesabre and i would like to rebuild the engine, as well as
other aspects but i would like to get my hands on a pdf service shop manual for
the vehicle

Shop around for a used motor.......there were thousands of them built and used in all GM products except Cadillac. They are very good engines and because of that there is very little demand for used engines...Know a fellow that just got a 1990 with 53K for $200 You cannot but the parts for anywher close to that.
