Water leak entering rear seat area floor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Try as I might, I've not been able to locate a pesky leak that enters and pools in the area under the seat seat cushion as seems to wick its way onto the right side floor area where a rear passenger rests his feet. Any recommendations on how to trouble shoot leaks... nothing I tried has worked yet. There does not seems to be a leak around the door rubber mouldings. However, if the car is left outside in our rainy weather, the inside windows get all fogged up which suggests to me that there's moisture in the car that doesn't be there.

Probably around the rear window. The only thing I know you could try is to take a water hose and gently spray are areas you think it could be coming from. Windows, doors etc. These small leaks can be a real problem to find, but unless you want rusted floor pans they have to be found. Check Google or You Tube for finding water leaks in cars as well. Hope this helps. JW

Probably a leak in the sunroof drain. THere's a line that runs from the back of the sunroof down the driver's side rear pillar into an open space in the back corner of the trunk before draining out the bottom. There's an opening for a plastic vent of some sort directly under that drain into the trunk space. I had to seal around the plastic piece with bathroom caulk. Check for water in the trunk around your spare tire as well.
it happened to my 2000 regal back seat would full with water i corked the seam that runs down top of car and it stopped
My husband drilled a couple of holes in back floor of my Buick the problem was solved no more water and no more steamed up windows
