Have a 98 riviera....was not driven 5 weeks...had to use key to open door because fob wouldn't work...had it jumped and started no problem..drove it 15 minutes then turned it off...interior lights

used key and not fob to open car door because battery was dead...jumped it and started
fine...drove it 15 minutes and turned it off....car wouldnt lock and interior lights wouldnt
turn off...any idea whats going on?

First consider changing the key fob battery . Then check if by mistake you turned on the manual interior lights switch which is part of the headlight switch. Good Luck SEMPER FI
