For a 1999 century, it says in the manual....went out to the car and grabbed it, and it does not say mpg when new. It says everything else like horses, torque, engine type...etc. But right now im getting 15 mpg

My 98 century is getting around 16 mpg in town and 22 mpg on highway. That's with a 3.1 liter V-6 / w auto trans.

My 2000 Buick gets on average 21 in town and 30 on the highway. If I am using the A/C it goes down to about 18/28.... and if I have my foot in it around town it gets only 16 or 17. My car has 80000 Miles and has been treated with Lucas fuel injector cleaner, not sure if that would help you or not.

the 2000 and up century's have a slightly tuned version of your 3.1 V6 though, that my increase the MPG slightly as well.
