I own a 93 buick regal and a few months ago one of the brake lights went out.when i went to change it the man told
me it wasnt the bulb but could be a curcuit so i continued driving with the miiddle and the working side. the working
side went out yesterday and i had a man look at the bulbs again and no luck. he checked the fuses and that wasnt
it. what could the problem be?

If any of the brake light bulbs are lighting up, you are getting power to the rear of the car. All the lamps are tied together. There may be one wire or there may be two wires coming from the front to power the bulbs. --- You can buy an electrical meter at Harbor Freight for under $10. -- Get a meter and check the sockets for power. If you have power, check for a ground connection.
as ilregal says that's a sometimes tough issue, a few things you can try without being a Tech in wiring prop brake peddle on,have someone watch for lighting, while twisting harness at connections in trunk, under rear chassis and switch at peddle under dash, ,
run a new power wire to each light from the one thats working and check the grounds on each. could also be the socket the bulb plugs into. corrosion in those has same affect
This is an old thread but I think I can answer this, "Your turn signal switch is bad." Jiggle turn signal lever with brake depressed at night and look in the mirror to check. I been looking at pcm, ecm ground info, I'm not getting power to my fuel pump relay. Will run with hot wire to relay but no first gear. I hope the turn signal switch called muti function switch helps someone
