Question type: Maintenance & Repair

can I disconnect the regulator and connect it independently to a 12  volt source
.if the regulator does not work can I also check the switch to be sure it is ok?
Can you supply a wiring diagram of the pins on the switch assembly?

It's usually best to go with how the vehicle was designed , A multi tester is useful for electrical problems
