why does my fan whistle when its on?

My sebring convertible since I bought it in May of this year.  When I turn on the fan, whether in ac or heat it whistles every thirty seconds or so.

Sounds like the fan bearings are sho. Replace the fan motor and check the "squirrel cage" which is the part that actually moves the air also.
