transmission clunking into gear

i have a 1999 T&C with the 3.8 i had an issue where the tranny clunked into gear and wouldnt shift out of 2nd or 3rd I though i was going to need a new transmission turned out it was a speed sensor in the tranny got it fixed for under $150 go to a mechanic you trust to tell you the actual issue so you dont get wrong information and end up getting ripped off
