My 2006 dodge ram 1500 mega cab dies right after I start it and then it dies as soon as I put it in reverse

Battery good so is altanater good as well for sure

sounds like an electronic issue ( computer issue) this generation has a very sensitive electronic system. if there are no error codes in the system and no obvious signs of damage or abuse it will be a difficult and time consuming diagnosis. possibly a worn out ignition or Totally integrated power module"TIPM". good luck.. email me with any other questions. i have the same truck centerpoint04@aol.com
