the best way to "flush" in any direction...remove the heater hoses (not necessarily from the fire wall) n put a garden hose on each end of the heater hoses, turn on the water at a low level of flow, hook 'er up to each end of the heater hose in turn. Works every time unless the heater core or any connecting ass'y is bad.

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L v8. I just put a brand new remanufactured transmission in it. I get drive neutral 1st 2nd but it won’t go in reverse it acts as if it’s in drive. How do I fix this ?
