Have a rubber tube hanging off my driver side rear
axel. Can’t find where it went to and the clip rusted
but I don’t see where it went. 2 weeks after my abs
light, brake light, are on and I have a thumping
coming from under my truck. It’s a 2002 Dodge
Ram 1500

That is a vent line. The other end of the hose should be located high where water cannot enter it.

So I need to tie it up high? Could water entering it cause my abs and brake light to turn on and the brake pedal to go all the way down and the loud thumping as I drive it?

I doubt your brake problems are due to the vent. You may have a bad master cylinder. The ABS may be from a bad wheel speed sensor.
