not getting fire from coil

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Not getting fire from coil and I replaced the
distributor cap rotor and plugs and plug wires and
need ideas that would tell me why I am not getting
fire from the coil

you may use your multi-meter, but there must be limited ground potential at the coil...scrub your battery terminals clean with a wirebrush to bring back the 12.5 volts that is needed~

you will be measuring voltage..11 volts = brown out power~ you would like 12-12.5 volts...probably better then using your tongue~
