No spark

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I just put another engine in my 1997 1500. However, after hooking all the accessories and connectors back up, I do not get any power to the coil. Does anyone know what may cause this and how to fix it?

try putting a new coil in,unless of course you tested for power at small electrical connector that plugs into the coil, then you have alot of electrical work to do
First check the ASD relay in the underhood fuse block, swap it with a relay you know is working. Next did you swap the trans too? or keep your old one?, if you pinched the wire for the crank sensor between block and bell housing the PCM won't get the signal and you'll get no power to the coil. Lastly I would check the cam sensor(pick up plate)......I assume your using your factory PCM and not the one from the new engine?
