Motor transfer

Ok dont kill me but i was wondering if you can,
(and if possible how can it be done ) put a v8
5.9 Dodge Ram motor into a Ford body.

We won't beat you up too badly on this one. No. The biggest problem is the incompatibility of the ECM engine computer. The Ford ECM won't run the Dodge engine, and it would be a mechanics nightmare to switch everything over. Thanks for asking.

I don't think I have to say this, but it was an argument between my husband and my self, if my dad ( who is a mechanic by the way) ever found out that i even ask such a question, lol. He would kill me. Im a chick but i still get curious! Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. It never hurts to ask.

Oh and my husband said you couldn't transfer it because of the motor mount. So i am wrong but oh well, apparently he doesn't know everything either!
