Having transmission issues.
Took transmission out and on the
motor below distributor right of motor
is a big hole with threads.
Its brand new looking inside the hole.
Something had to be there but unsure
what's suppose to be.
Help.

Probably a hole used in a different engine application.

No,because it looks brand-new in there so,something had to be there be for.every thing surrounding the area is covered in grease and grim. Why would this hole look so clean? Some one has looked at changing it transmission,but gave up when electrical didn't match up. They said it was already there too. I'm having trouble with matching up electrical for this model also. Not sure why the plugs don't match. 2nd one. Help is anyone knows if it can be converted? Now 3rd transmission that was suppose to be the one for this model truck and it don't match electrical plugs. I can't get another. I don't know what to do.? 3 different mechanics have tried and failed. I need my truck. Help
