Will a 2005 2500 bed fit on 96 12 valve cummins?

I have a 1996 Dodge 2500 long box and am wondering if a 2005 long box will
fit.  Its a damn good deal but don't have the ability for adapting.

But are you sure that even having a Dodge is even a good deal?
