Car wont idle?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

as i was pulling into a parking space my
car just turned off. It wasn't the battery.
The car will turn back on but wont idle
the idle air control valve has been
replaced and the fuel filter. If i hold the
gas pedal down the car will stay on but
as soon as i let go it turns back off i
need help im a single mother who knows
nothing about cars

How do i clean the throttle body and the air filter was fine when it was checked

Google how to clean throttle body on the year , make and model of your vehicle and it will take you to sites and a video on how to clean the throttle body on your vehicle.

Check all of your vacuum hoses. One may have come loose or cracked to leak and caused the bad idle
