2006 taurus how do i check for leak in rack and pinion steering

Jack it up, or put it on the rack, crawl underneath and look. There will be power steering fluid coming out, maybe not fast but you should know how fast by the P.S. you have ben adding.

Also check with system under pressure start vehicle and have someone turn steering wheel back and forth then check for leaks but like Rowefast suggest make sure vehicle is properly supported.
