I'm needing to know where the voltage regulator is
located at on a 2003 Ford explorer sport Trac

It is on the back of the alternator, the wire plugin is it.

Depending on the style of the alternator, it may be inside of the alternator, but still where the wires plug into.

ON FORDS THE VOLATGE REGULATOR IS BULIT RIGHT INTO THE ALTERNATOR.A VOLTAGE REGULATOR COST LIKE $30.00 IF THAT MUCH.
