Truck won't move.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a diesel 2000 f250. Drove perfectly fine last
night. This morning i turned my truck on, no
problem, put it in drive, no problem, pressed the
gas and NOTHING... no check engine light is on.
The engine does not rev up when i press the gas. It
rolls forward when i put in drive and rolled back
when i put in reverse.. what do u think before i
spend a fortune just to find an answer. :-)

Im feeling throttle pedal, it's known to happen. The engine will simply idle and won't respond to any throttle input. It usually throws tho. If you can get a scanner to monitor tps you can check it yourself.
Thank you. It all makes sense. By chance do you think having the glow plugs replaced to pass smog by a mechanic could have messed with this? Sorry if this sounds silly. Obviously not much of a car guru myself. Haha
As long as it's running well cold no, I doubt it. If you can get a code reader to it and pull the codes. There may be something stored in there without the light coming on.

My truck is not responding to the throttle pedal at times when driving, what does that mean?
