Question type: General

IS IT A 4:10 LIMITED SLIP AND/OR IS IT A 9" STANDARD FORD REAREND?

It's a 4.10:1 with limited slip, but it is not a 9" rear end, it is a heavy duty 8.8" unit that is specific to the Lightning, having cooling fins on the diff cover. Hope that helps.

THANKS JESSE. THE ONE I HAVE IS MAKING NOISE, SO I NEED TO LOOK AT REBUILDING IT, OR GETTING A THIRD MEMBER TO REPLACE IT. I FIGURED IT WAS A 410 OR 411 DUE TO ALL THE THINGS I HAVE READ ABOUT IT. IT IS THE ORIGINAL, AND I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY.

No, it's an 8.8" rear end special to the Lightning -- not a 9" rear. And you're welcome, OP, nice pic btw, look good!
