What kind of oil was put in? Rear end grease or something? Otherwise just conventional oil is not going to make it not start.

Agree with Rowefast, any engine oil at any grade will not keep it from starting. Did you drain the old oil out? How much oil was put in?

Maybe it wasn't oil but several quarts of "loctite"

Any oil you put in it would allow it to start. It might seize up a couple of miles later but it would start. Did you drain the wrong stuff?

The guy who sold me the truck brought the oil from the mill he works at it was clean smelled fine. but was a little different color than what I'm use to however he hasn't changed it in3 years so I used it approx 5 quarts. Didn't have filter at time so left old one on. It ran approx 6 miles. Then lost all power in engine driving down the highway. Nor elec. Power but engine.power. got it home it seemed fine ,for another 20 miles was taking off from a stop sign.barley made it on to the highway. At acceleration it. Kinda coughed spitted and I barley got it off the highway. Towed homecuz absoulutley no start. It trys just. can't kick
