Make sure you have some free play as you depress the brake pedal, I f you have no freeplav the master cylinder applies the brakes as a drag on the discs. Look for debris that limits brake pedal travel or check the rest position of the brake pedal.
Does a 1995 GMC come with front disc brakes, or is that a upgrade?
