01 Sonoma grimlin

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Father in law's Sonoma decided not to
start one morning and so he called me to
check it out. I checked the basics for crank
but no start. Has spark got good fuel
pressure distributor is in time checked
crank sensor even tried starting fluid and
no luck. The only thing that gets me is
when we stop cranking on the last
revolution it makes it tries to fire. Any
suggestions cause if not I've got a large
pile of firewood I'm going park it on and
enjoy the light show for memorial day

some vehicles need a proper fuel pressure just having it won't do , tap the fuel pressure off the schrader valve and see what happens , don't start any fires and let us know what happens
Yes they are firing. Plugs are wet with fuel. Got compression. Got blue to white spark on coil and plug wires. Changed crank sensor. Verified the distributor is in time. Won't even fire when spraying starting fluid in it. It's got me snowed
