The sensor for bank one is located in the front of the car and I have a feeling you will need to replace the catalytic converter.

Thanks Joemom.is there a way of testing the cat prior to spending big money to replace. Do you think that the damaged cat could also be causing misfire to cylinders 1,3,5

It may not be the cat it may be the sensor. Here is how to check for a bad cat. https://www.google.com/url? sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv %3DpEH2LbRS73s&ved=0ahUKEwiQqJ6jrKHJAhXH7SYKHb_SA MwQtwIIGzAA&usg=AFQjCNGcyx5rqeOm4LJYSEo924TW_yzg mw
