Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Amanti. On occasion after starting car and shifting into Drive the car jerks forward. If I release cas prdal and push again it may do it two or three times then is OK This does not always happen but just enough to be anoying. I have taken it back to two dealers who cannot get it to do it. The throttle is wireless. Is it the computer?

Sounds like a problem with the throttle position sensor or the electronic throttle control.

I have had my Amanti in the shop 4 times for this problem. They have replaced the throttle position sensor, replaced some connections, and done all they can and it still is not fixed. I am putting it back in the shop today but they just don't have ant idea what is wrong with it.

IF YOU CALL KIA (MOTORS OF AMERICA) PRIOR TO TAKING IT TO THE DEALER, THEY CAN ARRANGE TO HAVE A FIELD TECHNICIAN MEET YOU @ THE DEALER TO PERFORM DIAGNOSIS.
