Kia Rio battery light

I bought a new battery for AutoZone because my
battery light was on I assumed it was the battery,
but it still there after putting in a new one

your old battery is fine,the car isn't charging the battery,they must check its regulator

take your negitive battery cable off for about twenty minutes this will reset your computer if that doesnt do it .
